Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Manager to oversee our quality assurance processes. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our cabinetry products meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. The goal of this position is to increase profitability through reduced scrap, reduced rework and increased customer satisfaction.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversees the creation and maintenance of all quality-related documentation and processes
  • Ensures that all designated departments are staffed with qualified QA personnel.
  • Provides summarized and real-time quality performance feedback to manufacturing
  • Determines and documents the quality standards for all products.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes and standards for cabinetry production.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Train and mentor team members on quality standards and best practices.

Qualifications & Required Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Business/Quality Management is preferred
  • +3 years of proven experience in quality management within the cabinetry or manufacturing industry.
  • Cabinetry-related experience and a minimum of 3-5 years’ quality-related experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Well-versed in QMS systems, ISO requirements, Lean Manufacturing and Statistical Process Control is required. Knowledge of high-volume
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is required with basic AutoCad drafting ability preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO standards).
  • Proficient in using quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
