Your Mission: 

 

Your mission is to be in three different locations at the same time, ensuring that our equipment and systems are running smoothly, keeping our production lines humming while avoiding costly downtime. You’ll lead teams of skilled technicians, troubleshoot and maintain state-of-the-art machinery, and implement strategies that enhance our plant’s performance. Primary Duties & Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing (and Absolutely Crushing It):

 

  • Manage talented teams of maintenance technicians. You’ll be their go-to mentor, helping them develop their skills, grow their careers, and work toward shared success in daily operations, including machinery and plant infrastructure maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Preventative maintenance will be your game plan, ensuring machinery operates at peak performance and minimizing downtime to keep production flowing smoothly.
  • When problems arise (and we promise they will!), you’ll use your sharp problem-solving skills to troubleshoot, repair, and get things back on track quickly and efficiently.
  • You’ll analyze and recommend improvements to our equipment, systems, and processes, bringing cutting-edge maintenance strategies that increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  •  You’ll ensure that all maintenance activities are performed with the highest safety standards in mind, protecting both the team and the facility. Your commitment to safety will create a secure environment where everyone can thrive.
  • Collaborate closely with production teams and senior management, ensuring everyone is aligned on goals, maintenance schedules, and any potential challenges.
  • Keep spare parts and equipment inventories well-stocked to avoid production delays and implement strategies to optimize resource use.

Qualifications & Required Skills

What We’re Looking For:

 

  •  A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or a related field is preferred, but extensive hands-on experience will be just as valuable.
  • +7 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment. You’ve already managed teams and have hands-on experience with a variety of machinery, preferably in cabinetry or similar industries.
  • Proven ability to lead a maintenance team to success. You’re a natural mentor who loves to share knowledge and inspire your team to do their best work.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly assess and resolve equipment issues with minimal disruption.
  • Lean Six Sigma or other relevant certifications are advantageous.
