Job Purpose

The Cabinet Modification Team is dedicated to providing operational oversight and strategic leadership in the execution, optimization, and continuous improvement of cabinet business processes. This includes managing plan designs, generating quotes, processing orders, conducting measurements, and preparing installation documentation. By focusing on efficiency and quality, the team aims to enhance overall workflow, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive sustainable growth within the cabinet division.  (Houston, Dallas, Austin or San Antonio)  

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Auditandanalyzevariouscabinetprocessesforaccuracyandcompleteness:
    • Audit all cabinet-related documents in Echelon
    • Audit accuracy and completeness of cabinet quotes and orders
    • Audit accuracy of quote measures / layouts with Echelon BOM
    • Analyze cabinet measures that come back with discrepancies and determine the root cause of the issue

    · Provide operational oversight as follows:

    • Ensure that no cabinet quote/order stalls out in the quote/order process due to internal process issues
    • Facilitate an efficient flow of quotes/orders between the cabinet estimating department, the Design Center and Inside Sales
    • Execute changes to cabinet plans (per address) in Echelon utilizing the Adobe Pro software
    • Monitor, manage and minimize the number of orders that require redraws by Estimating and Design
    • Post measure to identify who will make the changes and who will cover any additional cost incurred
    • Ensure installers have accurate and complete documents to complete an install correctly and on time
    • Provide CAD Engineering DXF files for CTA
    • Monitor group mailbox and provide daily update on issues to requester until complete

Qualifications & Required Skills

  • Cabinet product knowledge
  • 3 years’ minimum experience in a customer service or fast paced office
  • Skilled at reading, layouts, blueprints & redlines
  • Detail Oriented, process oriented and analytical
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Previous Adobe Acrobat Pro is a plus
  • High School Diploma or GED, some college is a plus
  • Ability to multitask effectively to meet tight deadlines while staying focused on priority issues
  • Support efforts to continuously improve departmental, location and company performance
