Job Purpose

You’re expected to act like a leader — but never get the title.

You already manage people, fix problems others ignore, and keep operations from falling apart… but still, someone else gets the credit. At Wisenbaker, we see leadership for what it is, not what it’s labeled. If you're ready for your title to match your impact, this Logistics Director role is for you.

This role is built for experienced logistics professionals who are ready to own the full scope of supply chain leadership. If you’ve done the work, it’s finally time to get the recognition.

Your Mission:

You’ll take ownership of transportation, warehousing, vendor coordination, and last-mile delivery for a fast-moving manufacturing business. From big-picture strategy to daily execution, your leadership will keep our operations running on time, on budget, and above expectation.

This is not a reactive role—it’s proactive, strategic, and vital to our success.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing (And Owning Like a Pro):

  • Oversee all aspects of logistics operations, including procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and transportation
  • Ensure products are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Develop scalable logistics strategies to support multi-site manufacturing and distribution
  • Build KPIs and use data to drive process improvements and cost savings
  • Implement best practices and leverage technology to streamline operations
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to maintain strong relationships and secure favorable contracts
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on logistics performance and improvement opportunities

Qualifications & Required Skills

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 5 years in logistics, supply chain, or operations management within a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, transportation logistics, and warehousing processes
  • Data-driven approach with experience using KPIs to improve performance
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain software is highly desirable
