ID 2025-1476
Position Type
Full-Time
Location

Job Purpose

You’re designing like it’s 2027. They’re managing like it’s 1997.

You’ve got an eye like a hawk and instincts that can’t be taught. You spot design inconsistencies in seconds. You see how layouts can flow smoother, how specs could be cleaner — and you say something. But leadership? They hear you after the mistake hits the floor.

At Wisenbaker, your CAD skills are appreciated.

Your Mission:

Bring clarity to chaos.
As our CAD Drafter, you’ll transform complex cabinet designs into clean, production-ready drawings that keep our manufacturing lines moving. You won’t be just a keyboard jockey — you’ll be an essential bridge between engineering, production, and installation. Your work prevents waste, delays, and rework — and we’ll treat it that way.

Fresh out of school or just getting started? If you've got the skills and the drive, we're ready to meet you where you are — and help you build from there.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing (Like a Pro):

  • Ability to read blueprints, architectural drawings, and shop specs like a second language
  • Draft precise and production-ready shop drawings for cabinetry and millwork using AutoCAD, Revit/SolidWorks to translate plans into accurate build specs
  • Keep drawings organized, updated, and synced with production timelines
  • Anticipate design challenges and propose smarter, cleaner, faster solutions
  • Flag conflicts early and champion a zero-surprises culture
  • Tighten our drafting-to-build cycle

Qualifications & Required Skills

What We’re Looking For (Let’s Be Honest):

  • 2+ years drafting experience in cabinetry, millwork, or construction-related industry
  • Mastery of AutoCAD — if you’re still Googling how to trim lines, this isn’t your gig
  • Accurate, detailed and timely drawings for production
