Job Purpose

Your system is solid. Your instincts are sharp. But no one listens — until it’s too late. Ready for a place that actually trusts you to lead?

You’re constantly two steps ahead — but you’re the last person they ask. You know when stock will run short. You know the workaround. You know the fix. But leadership only listens when the floor’s on fire. We built Wisenbaker around operators who think like owners. Here, inventory is strategic. If you’ve got the brains and experience to run it, we give you the support and the room to lead.

Your Mission:

Take full ownership of our inventory process. That means managing accuracy, forecasting demand, reducing waste, and leading your team like a well-oiled machine. This role requires someone who’s run inventory in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you’re still learning the ropes, you’ll want to keep us on your radar.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Own the entire inventory lifecycle — no babysitting needed
  • Keep stock accurate through smart systems, spot checks, and usage analysis
  • Forecast what’s coming so we’re never short, and never overstocked
  • Be the bridge between purchasing and production — timing is everything
  • Use our ERP (and your brain) to find waste, cut it, and speed things up
  • Mentor your inventory control team and build a culture of pride and precision
  • Recommend changes, own the process, and drive measurable improvements

Qualifications & Required Skills

What We’re Looking For (Let’s Be Honest):

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or equivalent experience
  • 3–5+ years of manufacturing inventory management (cabinet industry = huge bonus)
  • 1–2+ years leading people or processes — we need a driver, not a passenger
  • ERP experience a must (NetSuite, Epicor, SAP, etc.)
  • Excel wizardry (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, inventory audits, the whole deal)
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or CI methods — or just really good common sense
