Your Mission:

Own and elevate quality in our finishing department.

As our Quality Lead, you’ll be the final line of defense between good and great. You’ll ensure that every  finished natural and man-made stone product product leaving the line meets exacting standards—yours, and our customers’. You won’t just inspect—you’ll lead, improve, and empower. At Wisenbaker, quality isn't a buzzword. It’s your job title.

What You’ll Be Doing (And Crushing Every Minute of It):

• Review shop drawings and CAD files to ensure finished countertops match exact specs—every cut, edge, and finish.

• Inspect completed pieces for accuracy, materials, edge profiles, and craftsmanship; flag defects before they reach the customer.

• Drive rework/remake decisions in real time—partnering with production to fix errors fast and right.

• Own quality reporting: log issues, track trends, and keep records tight and audit-ready.

• Train and coach team members on quality standards, with refresher sessions to maintain top-tier output.

• Flag defects, safety violations, or process gaps to the Quality Manager—proactively, not reactively.

• Keep the inspection zone clean, organized, and aligned with 5S and safety protocols.

• Jump in to support QC team workflows as needed—this is a hands-on leadership role.

What We’re Looking For:

• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, shop prints, and fabrication symbols. Understands countertop tolerances and finishing specs.

• Comfortable with measurements, square footage calculations, fractions, decimals, and ratios—can spot discrepancies fast.

• Strong communication and reporting skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus.

• Ability to identify quality issues, trace the root cause, and coordinate with teams to correct it quickly and effectively.

• Understanding of countertop production, including fabrication standards and what "good" looks like on a finished product.
