Job Purpose

Sick of Being the Inventory Pit Stop Instead of the Efficiency Enabler?

If you’re tired of jumping into endless “reply-all” avalanches, getting buried in cycle counts, and cleaning up other people’s messes while true operational control slips through your fingers, you’re not the issue. You got into inventory management to create order and accountability, not to put out fires all day.

At Wisenbaker our Inventory Supervisor isn’t a band-aid— its the keystone in our operational reliability. We believe that precision in inventory translates to trust—not only in the numbers, but across teams and performance.

Your Why Here:

To empower seamless operations and foster trust by transforming inventory into a precise, proactive control point—fueling productivity, reducing waste, and ensuring every team member can rely on the parts they need, exactly when they need them

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Here’s Where You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead inventory operations & reporting by overseeing cycle counts, reconcile variances (WIP, BOM, paint usage, etc.), and deliver accurate daily/weekly/monthly reports to control COGS and maintain data integrity.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, schedule, coach, and evaluate warehouse/inventory staff—ensuring clear communication of expectations, performance feedback, and adherence to policies.
  • Optimize end-to-end inventory flow by coordinating ordering, receiving, labeling, storing, and distribution of materials and finished goods; partner with Purchasing and Production to align procurement with demand and support system/process improvements.
  • Identify and resolve usage discrepancies, lead system updates/projects, and continuously review and document inventory procedures.
  • Manage record-keeping, ensure accurate correspondence of production usage, uphold safety standards, and support audits with robust documentation.

Qualifications & Required Skills

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 2 years of inventory management experience, including demonstrated success in team supervision and performance oversight.
  • High school diploma or GED required; further education or certifications in logistics/inventory is a plus.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in data entry, reporting, and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data validation.
  • Competent at interpreting safety protocols, bills of materials (BOMs), and policy documentation, ensuring compliance and operational reliability.
