Job Purpose

The Media Production Specialist is responsible for overseeing the entire creative, production, and postproduction process of the company’s media productions. The Media Production Specialist's projects will meet management and the company brand media requirement for both internal and external audiences. The Media Production Specialist will collaborate closely with the Marketing, HR, product managers, and company leadership teams.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create, capture, and edit multimedia content for social media, videos both short and long form, company events, learning/development videos and other internal company productions
  • Combine video, audio, and graphics to create an effective media that is consistent with company brand voice and style, to create a cohesive marketing strategy across on all platforms
  • Develop a content calendar for all production projects and schedule (i.e. script, storyboard, budget, resources, and deadlines)
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content
  • Manage all company video libraries.
  • Maintain an inventory of all company media equipment.
  • Perform general upkeep of assigned company media equipment
  • Photograph and edit desired images for company use
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure media deliverables are of the highest quality.
  • Recommend new technologies or techniques that can improve the quality of digital media and deliverables.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 3-5 years related work experience
  • Drone license and experience with FPV drones a plus
  • Ability to relate well with diverse populations and age groups
  • Master operating a professional camera
  • Proficient in editing software (Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects, or Adobe Premiere)
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute creative video ideas
  • Ability to incorporate our brand voice and identity in digital content
  • Knowledge of various HD and SD formats, studio and field production, lighting, scripting, storyboarding, audio concepts, and photography
  • Working knowledge of small format mixers, compression, EQ, effects processors
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Requires adaptability, enthusiasm, initiative and a positive approach to problem solving
  • Must have ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and work under time pressure deadlines

Working Conditions:

This job requires desk work as well as working in a variety of conditions to get the necessary footage and photos needed for assigned projects. Please expect to be working in both climatized and unacclimatized environments. This role does require travel (50%) to other WBS locations and events to capture footage as needed.
