Job Purpose

If your idea of “career development” is more than a one-time conversation and a generic training course — we’re already on the same page.

You’ve seen it before: employees with potential stuck in neutral, unclear pathways, and a lot of talk about development but no real plan. At Wisenbaker, we don’t just say we invest in our people — we back it up with strategy, tools, and action.

We’re looking for someone who can turn career pathing into more than a buzzword. Someone who wants to shape the future of a workforce — and knows how to get it done.

We need a professional who already understands the rhythms of manufacturing and operations and how development fits into the bigger picture. If you’re still building that experience, we’ll be here when you’re ready.

Your Mission:

You’ll design and lead programs that give our team real opportunities to grow — up, across, and beyond. From clear career maps to targeted learning paths, you’ll make development something employees can actually see, feel, and trust. Your work will fuel promotions, boost internal mobility, and strengthen the bench for tomorrow’s leadership.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Organizational Development (OD)

  • Design and lead change management strategies for large-scale initiatives, ensuring alignment with company values and goals.
  • Facilitate organizational assessments and development interventions (e.g., culture audits, engagement surveys, competency modeling).
  • Collaborate with leaders to improve team performance, communication, and effectiveness through coaching and team interventions.
  • Support workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning efforts.

Talent Management

  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of performance management processes.
  • Develop talent review and succession planning processes to identify high-potential employees and critical roles.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to create development plans that grow individual and organizational capabilities.
  • Manage programs focused on employee engagement, retention, and career development.

Training & Development

  • Assess learning needs and design training strategies that support skill development at all levels.
  • Develop and deliver (or source) training programs, including leadership development, soft skills, compliance, and technical training.
  • Create and maintain learning content using modern platforms and instructional design best practices.
  • Track and evaluate training effectiveness and ROI to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5–8 years of progressive experience in organizational development, talent management, and training.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing performance and learning strategies at scale.
  • Strong understanding of organizational behavior, adult learning principles, and talent development strategies.
  • Experience using learning management systems (LMS) and HRIS platforms.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and generate insights.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and consultative skills; able to influence across all levels of the organization.
