Why settle for the same routine when you can lead innovation? You deserve more than just another management role — you deserve a career where your expertise drives the future of engineering, costing, and operations. At Wisenbaker, quality and efficiency aren’t just goals — they’re the standard. We take pride in craftsmanship, teamwork, and continuous improvement, and we’re looking for a leader who shares that vision.
We’re searching for a Cabinet Engineering and Costing Operations Manager who combines technical expertise with strong leadership. If you’re ready to lead teams, optimize processes, and ensure every project is completed with precision and impact, this is the opportunity for you.
Your Mission:
As the Engineering and Costing Operations Manager, you will oversee engineering, costing analysis, and software operations across multiple teams and sites. Your leadership will ensure projects run efficiently, resources are used wisely, and innovative ideas become reality — all while keeping safety, quality, and collaboration at the forefront.
What You’ll Be Driving (And Owning Like a Pro):
• Lead the daily operations of engineering, costing, and software teams, ensuring efficiency and alignment with company goals.
• Stay ahead of industry technology and champion process innovations that improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Oversee engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring timelines, scope, and budgets are met.
• Develop and implement procedures that enhance productivity, prioritize safety, and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Establish and maintain a robust cost breakdown structure for precise costing analysis.
• Provide mentorship, cross-training, and development opportunities to team members to strengthen their skills and morale.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
• Allocate resources effectively and manage budgets, procurement, and inventory to maximize value.
• Present reports on performance, projects, and metrics to leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability.
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 5–10 years of proven experience in operations or management, with cabinet industry experience strongly preferred.
• Project management experience with ERP/MRP system knowledge.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, 20/20 Insight, and 20/20 Construct.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of building effective teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
You’ll be working in an environment where deadlines are tight, quality standards are uncompromising, and challenges are constant. But with the right mindset and leadership, you’ll not only overcome obstacles — you’ll turn them into opportunities for innovation. This is your chance to lead with confidence and make a lasting impact in the cabinetry industry.
