Business Development (Cabinets)

ID 2025-1638
Position Type
Full-Time
Location

Job Purpose

If your idea of “business development” is more than dialing numbers and pushing products — we’re already on the same page.

You’ve seen it before: sales roles where the only focus is “make your calls, hit your quota, move on.” No strategy. No real relationships. No chance to build something lasting. At Wisenbaker, we don’t just sell cabinets — we build partnerships. Our work shapes homes, and we’re looking for someone who wants to shape the future of our customer base with the same care.

We’re looking for a Business Developer who knows sales isn’t about scripts — it’s about conversations, trust, and delivering value. Someone who thrives on being face-to-face with customers, uncovering opportunities, and turning them into long-term wins.

Your Mission

You’ll be the growth engine of our cabinetry business — opening doors, building trust, and securing new revenue. From walking jobsites to sitting across the table with decision-makers, you’ll make sure Wisenbaker is top-of-mind when it comes to cabinetry solutions.

Your work won’t just drive sales — it will expand our footprint, strengthen our relationships, and help us stay ahead in a competitive market.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing (And Loving Every Minute of It):

  • Driving new revenue by prospecting, presenting, and closing deals with both new and existing customers.
  • “Getting the sale” using multiple methods — cold calling, field visits, and in-person presentations.
  • Researching and profiling your territory to find qualified prospects who align with our cabinetry solutions.
  • Presenting the Wisenbaker story and product offerings in a way that resonates with each customer.
  • Partnering with the Branch General Manager to prioritize and strategize sales activities.
  • Working with Account Managers to ensure smooth onboarding and strong retention of new customers.
  • Reporting on sales activities, wins, and pipeline progress.

Qualifications & Required Skills

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales required; cabinetry, construction, or manufacturing industry knowledge is a strong plus.
  • A track record of building or revamping career pathing, training programs, or development frameworks.
  • Self-motivated, great communicator, comfortable engaging with everyone from jobsite supervisors to executives.
  • A relationship-builder who knows how to balance persistence with professionalism.
  • Someone who thrives in the field — face-to-face, on the move, making things happen.

About the Company

At Wisenbaker, we don’t just support the homebuilding industry — we help build it from the ground up. As one of the largest interior finish solutions providers in the country, we partner with top homebuilders to deliver flooring, countertops, and cabinets that turn houses into homes. But we’re more than materials — we’re a people-powered operation where hard work is noticed, growth is real, and leadership actually leads. If you're ready to be part of something built to last, welcome to Wisenbaker.
