Job Purpose

The Warehouse Associate plays a pivotal role assisting with receiving, inventory, and stocking of warehouse goods. The Warehouse associate is instrumental in facilitating intra-company shuttling, upholding inventory accuracy, and ensures the overall neatness of inventory. This position also supports in material sales from the warehouse cage.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Delivers supplies to departments by receiving and transferring items.
  • Receive inventory while coordinating with those onsite.
  • Unload deliveries, verify packing slips.
  • Label items and put up.
  • Maintain inventory by insuring moves are completed and materials are in the correct locations physically and in the system.
  • Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
  • Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Ensuring scheduled cycle counts are conducted; reconciling variances; inputting data; daily, weekly, monthly.
  • Completes reports by entering required information.
  • Help with Made to Stock Goods inventory and report/process variances; monthly.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
  • Maintains inventory by conducting scheduled cycle counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.
  • Maintains cage with sales of items to the various departments.
  • Assist with follow up on new samples and test materials.
